Islamabad: The superintendent of Adiala Jail on Wednesday requested the court to go against the court orders issued by Imran Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Movement for Justice (PTI) Exclude contempt of court petition filed against him not allowing his sons to speak on the phone.

“Prison PCOs for prisoners have made arrangements to talk to families and lawyers,” he said, He added that the court could direct the Punjab Home Department to amend the rules regarding making phone calls.
Meanwhile, the court adjourned the hearing of the contempt petition till Monday due to the absence of Judge Abul Hassanat Zulqarnin.
The day before, three witnesses presented their testimonies on the cipher case against Shah Mahmoud Qureshi, head of the Pakistan Justice Movement (PTI) and vice chairman of the party.
Judge Zulqarnin presided over the proceedings in Adiala Jail under the Special Official Secret Act Court. The PTI’s legal representatives included Barrister Salman Safdar, Timur and Gohar Ali Khan, while the special prosecution included Shah Khawar, Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi and Raja Rizwan Abbasi.
Meanwhile, the court has called three more witnesses for the next hearing, whose hearing has been adjourned until November 10.

The court adjourned the case until November 14 after the attorney general asked for time to present his arguments.
