‘No talks on seat adjustments’, PML-N clarifies on alliance with MQM-P during Karachi trip

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) on Sunday rejected rumors of “set adjustment” With the United National Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) following an agreement reached between the two parties for an electoral alliance in Sindh.

The remarks were made by Khawaja Saad Rafiq of the Muslim League, who, along with former Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq and other leaders, held the brave MQMP office in Karachi Visited.

The development came after a delegation from the MQMP, which included convener Dr. Khalid Mubli Siddiqui, Farooq Sattar and Syed Mustafa Kemal met with the Supreme Nawaz Sharif of the Muslim League in Lahore at the party’s Model Town Secretariat.

With elections approaching, Sindh has become the center of political alignment with the former Allied Muslim League, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Jamiat Al-Islam Fazal (JUIF) are forming new alliances to strengthen their position in the upcoming elections.

Bowing down to MQM-P leaders today, Rafiq made it clear that there was no discussion between the two parties on the issue of seat adjustment, adding, “Two teams from the Muslim League and the MQMP are working [in terms of their electoral alliance and future strategies].”

The leader of the Muslim League revealed that the party was trying to form a political alliance in Sindh and also up to Pakistan’s JUIF and Pir Sahib Pagara — PML-F has arrived — in this regard.

Highlighting the party’s manifesto, Rafiq said the Muslim League would focus on the country’s judicial system and that the issue was likely to be at the forefront of his election manifesto There will be priority.

He also talked about the issue of Karachi’s local government and said that reforms are needed hours. “Unfortunately, [the country] did not adopt the local government system [in its true essence].”

He added that the local government system should be effective and helpful to the people.

Meanwhile, MQMP convener Khalid Mubli Siddiqui said political parties should accept each other’s mandate and recognize it.

Siddiqui called for constitutional protection of local bodies and stressed that a caretaker setup should be set up after the expiration of local bodies.

“It was already decided with JUI-F and MQM-P that we would fight elections together,” he said.
