He warned that the Sindh administration and police chief’s actions could spark divisions between the provinces.

He declared, “I am confident the Sindh chief minister will stop such steps that cause unrest across provincial borders.”

Arrest at Elahi’s home?
Elahi and his son Moonis claimed later on Monday that police had raided their Gujrat residence, Kanjah House.

They claimed that the police first surrounded their house and then used ladders to climb their walls, even though they weren’t there.

Moonis asserted that law enforcement was attempting to search their home without a warrant.

He added that these methods of intimidation will not work.
