She said, “Saqib Nisar’s ‘Sadiq aur Amin’ admits to investing Shaukat Khanum’s $3 million charity fund in a housing society,'” mocking former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan.
The minister stated that Shaukat Khanum Hospital was the recipient of Zakat funds, not a private housing society.
She criticized Imran for his double standards by pointing out that he had previously accused other people of theft but had now admitted to stealing and misusing charity funds.
Marriyum Aurangzeb claimed that Imran did not even seek approval from the hospital’s board of directors before investing millions of dollars in a housing society using funds from charitable organizations.
She described Imran as a con artist who had taken Toshakhana gifts and money from Zakat.
She stated that the theft of Toshakhana gifts and the misappropriation of £190 million were of no concern to Imran.
She maintained, “For him, getting foreign funding against the national interests or a five-carat diamond was not a crime.”
She claimed that Bushra Bibi sold every job and appointment in Punjab and that 458 Kanal land was taken as a bribe in the name of Al-Qadir Trust.
On the contrary, she stated that he could not prove false accusations in any Pakistani or British court against his political opponents, whom he referred to as thieves.
She argued that this was the reason Imran Khan did not appear in court because he would have had to confess to all of his crimes.
