CTD arrests two TTP ‘terrorists’ in DG Khan

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab on Wednesday arrested two alleged terrorists belonging to the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ghazi Khan.

It also claimed to have seized materials needed to make suicide jackets, weapons, and explosives.

Ghulam Hussain and Ghulam Mustafa were the terrorists arrested, according to CTD officials.

It was alleged that the TTP agents had finished planning and conducting surveillance to target sensitive locations.

The materials needed to make suicide jackets, weapons, and explosives were seized in large quantities.

Both of the arrested suspects have been charged with a crime, and an additional investigation is currently underway.
