CTD kills TTP commander in Kala Bagh encounter

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday gunned down Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Commander Habib-ur-Rehman during operation in Kalabagh town of Mianwali district in Punjab.

A tip about the presence of terrorists in the area led to the start of the encounter.

During the attack on his hideout, there was a fierce exchange of fire that lasted almost 30 minutes.

The TTP commander was killed in the gun battle, and his two companions managed to flee the scene.

The terrorists’ possession of weapons and suicide vests was retrieved by CTD.

The fugitive terrorists were the focus of a search operation.
