Since Ms. Nawaz returned to the country after spending four and a half months in London, she has increased the scope of her outreach to the general public.

She also considered the suggestions made by ticket holders and former lawmakers regarding how to spread the party’s narrative to the general public. She claimed that Imran Khan only engaged in politics of blame-games while her father, former premier Nawaz Sharif, tried to alleviate people’s suffering.

The PML-N leader also reiterated her father’s claim that PTI chief Imran Khan used to say he would make political opponents cry, but that now the situation has changed.

She made this comment in the context of PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry crying on a television show after he was granted bail for allegedly making threats against members of the election commission and their families.

Marriyum Aurangzeb, the Information Minister, had stated earlier in the day that the PTI’s “Jail Bharo” movement was not for people who would start crying after just two days in prison.
