Nida Dar of Pakistan is named T20 Women’s Team of the Year by ICC.
Nida Dar, an all-rounder for the Pakistan Women Cricket Team, was named to the ICC Women's T20 Team of the Year on Monday in recognition of her efforts in 2022.
Nida Dar took 15 wickets at an economy rate of 5.50 and an average of 18.33 throughout the year.
She also played well with the bat, scoring 56 runs in 37 balls against India and helping Pakistan defeat their archrivals at the Asia Cup.
For the second year in a row, Nida Dar has been included in the ICC T20 Women’s Team of the Year. In 2019, she was also included in the team.
Smriti Mandhana, Richa Ghosh, Deepti Sharma, and Renuka Singh, four Indian players, were also on the team.
Beth Mooney, Tahila McGrath, and Ashleigh Gardner from Australia were also among the best 11 players of 2022.
Other players included Sophie Ecclestone of England and Inoka Ranaweera of Sri Lanka. The captain of the team was Sophie Devine of New Zealand.
