One policeman martyred, over 15 injured in explosion on Quetta’s Baleli Custom
One policeman embraced martyrdom and over 15 police officials were injured in an explosion near Baleli Custom on Wednesday morning.
According to initial reports, the explosives were planted on the roadside. The attackers targeted a Frontier Constabulary (FC) truck.
The police personnel was going on duty for the security of the polio team.
A heavy police and Rangers contingent has reached the site and sealed the area. The bomb disposal squad has been called in as well.
Evidence is being collected from the crime site, while further investigations are underway.
