Provinces responsible for controlling inflation: Maryam
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice President and chief organizer Maryam Nawaz on Monday claimed the federal government was helpless in providing relief to the people.
Ms. Nawaz stated to the media in Multan that the PML-N had begun full-scale preparations for the general and by-election elections.
She stated that the provinces were responsible for controlling inflation while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government ran the federal government.
According to the leader of the PML-N, PTI chief Imran Khan signed a deal with the IMF that made Pakistan a “hostage.”
She stated that it appeared as though the IMF, not the government, was running Pakistan.
Maryam claimed that the PML-N had always helped the people when it was in power. She asserted that the PTI government’s four years in power destroyed the country’s economy.
She also asked why Shehbaz Sharif was to blame for all of the inflation when, up until a few days ago, the PTI governments in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were led by Imran Khan.
