School violence in Lahore: Investigators include school administrators and video makers.
The Defence Police have expanded their investigation into a violent incident at a private school in Lahore, where a student was brutally beaten by her classmates, to include the school's management and the people who recorded the attack.
Four boys who were in front of the camera during the incident, out of seven new nominations, are now the subject of additional investigation.
Three female students had previously been the subject of a criminal investigation for their participation in the attack.
As part of their investigation, the police are also utilizing footage from the school’s CCTV cameras.
After receiving pre-arrest bail, the primary suspect, a female student, has voluntarily joined the investigation, and the remaining three suspects are also giving statements.
The district education authority (DEA) has also set up an inquiry panel to look into the incident, but their findings have not yet been made public.
