Sindh education dept body suggests promotion of students ‘without exams’
The Steering Committee of the Sindh Education Department on Thursday decided to promote students of classes 1 to 3 in private educational institutions across the province without exams.

In this regard, the committee has issued instructions to private educational establishments.
The committee says that private educational institutions will start their academic year on August 1. Classes 1 through 3 students will be promoted without taking any tests.
However, examinations for students in grades 4 through 8 will be held following Eidul Fitr.
In this regard, a notification has been issued by the Directorate of Private Schools’ additional director.
Reaction from All Sindh Private Schools Association Hayder Ali, chairman of All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association, stated that the Sindh Directorate of Private Institutions circular did not adhere to the Steering Committee’s recommendations.
