Sindh schools revert to 8am opening time
Due to a reduction in the severity of winter in Sindh, the School Education and Literacy Department on Thursday issued a circular and reverted to the previous starting time of 8am.
The schools in Sindh, including Karachi, will open at 8 a.m. on February 10, according to the authorities.
In the midst of a severe cold wave in the province, the Sindh Education Department had announced new opening times for schools two weeks ago.
The previous circular stated that privately managed schools would open at 8:30 a.m., adding that “the timings shall be in effect until March 31, and the decision may be strictly followed.”
