Officials at the Nasta police station in the Gujarabad area of the Charsadda district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said they received a tip about the presence of suspected terrorists.
The suspects opened fire on the police as they approached the location.
After that, there was a gunfight that ended with three terrorists dying.
Three bodies were discovered on the spot by the police during a subsequent search operation.
A police spokesperson claims that heavy weapons were also retrieved from the terrorists’ possession.
According to the police, an operation to locate the terrorists’ companions was currently underway.
