The cost of 10 grams of 22-karat gold, primarily used in jewelry making, increased by Rs5,108 to Rs164,252.
The price of one ounce of 24 karat gold decreased by $2 to $1,928 on the international market.
In the meantime, on Saturday, the over cost of Dubai gold rates increased to Rs5,000.
Price of silver On Saturday, the price of silver also reached a new record high.
A 24 karat silver tola cost Rs2,300 more, up by Rs100.
In a similar vein, the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat silver rose to Rs1,971.88 by adding Rs85.74.
An ounce of 24 karat silver remained unchanged at $23.60 on the international market.
