Why we don’t get good jobs despite of good Education?

Many students think that a career could be built after graduation but this is a false statement under which they are relying.It seems common that more educated people get a good job or can earn more. Eveyone believes that more education leads to a good paying job. We just want education or a degree so that we can meet our daily expenses or can live a life. Some want to live a luxurious life, so they just start getting higher education. This concept is somehow wrong as it is not necessary that people with higher education could get more valuable or high paying job according to their level of education. As an example we see that a student with just diploma can earn upto 10000, a college degree having 9 times more good pay and a high school 13 times better.
We live in a country where rate of unemployment is 6.65 million and this rate is three times higher than degree holders.The process of job hunting is very tough as there is too much competition for few jobs, also lack of oppourtunities in any field also leads to less job opportunities. Besides all of these circumstances the attitude and behaviour of an employe may effect on his job. Lack of research and information regarding the particular job leads to disapproval for a job. Despite of education our research and applications practices are not very effective moreover there are no proper platforms for us to show our job skills. Due to lack of confidence and knowledge,an educated man is left out of a good job. The real truth is that we have education of another field and doing a job in another field. In our coutry the political culture and advocacy culture are leading causes for job erruption, because of this the right of rightful is lost.In Pakistan there are more than 10000 plus students having degrees in their hands and moving here and there in search of jobs.Nowadays, even finding a low value job is getting more and more dificult.But luckily only few highly educated people are selected. This is a bitter truth that now a days in our country even a MBA, BBA or Engineer degree holders are forced to do jobs of barber,cobbler,gardener or a driver. Even for a low valued job alot of people are sending applications and very heartwrenching thing is that in these categories of job mostly are highly educated people. Inspite of getting well education, students are doing jobs of office boy, gatekeeper or a guard and from all of this only our country faces loss. It is clear from this that in our country even big degrees donot grantee a job, it cannot be denied that our youth want to do government jobs because of job security, even it it is a menial job. It is also true that according to number of our youth graduating, jobs are decreasing,most of the degrees holders belong to poor families who have no recommendation and no capital.Thus,all the governments that came to Pakistanalways raised same slogan that after coming to power, we will create new employment opportunities and as soon as a government comes to power,then they start beating the meritocracy for next 5 years. Educated youth belonging to education system do not get it, but the educated are only engaged in extinguishing the knowledge when the right of original right ful is killed due to influence of political party and the recommendation culture.There are also those who give degrees to student but not skills through qualification to get employment.In Pakistan, it mostly happens that if any job or seat comes in government sector only those are recomended or selected having high recommendation rest are rejected with the one n only statement “Selection is done on basis of Merit and your name doesn’t stand in merit list”.A bitter truth that we know but couldn’t do anything regarding this. Pakistan has to look over on Industries, Mills or other Companies and introduce some new options in these sectors so that youth can move towards something inspite of sitting useless and helpless on road. Spending alot of money on our education and inspite of this still jobless.This causes mental disturbance, health issues,depression,anxiety which leads to sucide attempt.
There is a need for proper guidline to people, a bit of education is still required as people don’t know about selection of jobs that suits them.There is a need for us to know and understand ourself and the world of work in order to make career,education and life decisions.Education about jobs should be provided in young ages so that in future such problems can be avoided. Lack of jobs also gives rise to crime rates, money is need of people and they do every possible work for earning. No matter how much knowledge or education we get, it is never enough. One should get specific with his job search and shouldn’t settle for an imperfect fit. Education is not enough to get a job ,experience is also way important.Pakistan should shake hands with other countries big franchises, brands and industries.In this way the can open or extend their branches here and people of Pakistan get some space or options for job.If person is not getting a job he should discuss with an experienced person who can advise him and lead him.It should be one of core responsibility of government to create maximum employment opportunities in the country so as to utilize the potential of youth and make them efficient citizens of society.As well as technical business and other options should be considered as learning continues throughout life
